Psychotherapy
I work as a behavioral therapist in individual and group therapy and offer psychotherapeutic treatment based on scientifically grounded methods. My work draws on over 13 years of professional experience as well as further training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
I understand psychotherapy as a collaborative, transparent process aimed at alleviating psychological distress, improving the handling of difficult emotions, and enabling greater stability and quality of life in the long term. In doing so, I work in a structured, everyday-relevant way and with a compassionate, accepting stance.
Coaching
Alongside psychotherapy, I offer psychological coaching, both individually and in groups. My coaching is aimed at people who want to engage with their mental health, inner experience, and relationships without a psychotherapeutic treatment in the strict sense being the primary focus.
My coaching is not performance- or career-oriented; rather it focuses on strengthening resources, self-exploration, and personal development.
Topics can include, among others:
Strengthening one’s mental health
Establishing helpful everyday habits
Managing stress, negative emotions, and inner pressure
Self-care and self-compassion
Improving relationships
Basics of Nonviolent Communication
Reflection on personal values, needs, and boundaries
In coaching I convey knowledge and methods from psychological research and psychotherapy that can help people better understand themselves and implement health-promoting changes. The approach is practical, reflective, and resource-oriented — with space for exchange, practice, and personal growth.
