Stance

As a therapist and coach, I combine a clear, evidence-based orientation with an appreciative, attentive, and respectful stance. I have worked psychotherapeutically for over 13 years and bring this wide professional experience into every therapeutic relationship.

I believe lasting change happens where people feel safe, seen, and taken seriously. A reliable therapeutic relationship, transparency in approach, and a shared understanding of goals are, for me, central foundations of therapy.

As a behavioral therapist I work in a structured, everyday-relevant, and solution-focused way. At the same time, it is important to me to look at internal processes with compassion. My work is shaped by further training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). These approaches help both to better regulate difficult emotions and to develop a kinder, more supportive inner stance.

My practice is explicitly a queer-friendly safe space, where sexual orientation, gender identity, and individual life choices have room without judgment or pressure to justify. I offer transition support in accordance with the current S3 guidelines and work affirmatively, resource-oriented, and clinically grounded.

I provide treatment in German and English and offer psychotherapy in individual and group settings. I understand therapy as a collaborative process: professionally guided, clearly structured, and at the same time humane, respectful, and individualized.
